Outsourcing to Developing Countries
Hi, I am new to this blog living in Pakistan. Managing ERP system development from past to years. In my point of view outsourcing is good thing that one can think out of the box and can bring fresh ideas to system development. As far QA of the SW is concern that must be managed other then the outsourcing company.

Working with User requirements
Tip - make sure you cater for additional time to capture user requirements when dealing with people across the globe. It will take longer and PM's need to plan according. Thats really important to understand. Make sure you specifically ask "whats outstanding" on project conference calls...even if you have Business analysts engaged to gather and develop the URS, plan for more time in the planning.
